American guitarist and singer-songwriter Joan Wasser might have started her career as a violinist with the Dambilders in 1992. She was a member of Black Beetle and Antony And The Johnsons and, since 2002, has been performing under the name Joan As Police Woman.
In February 2018, Wasser released her new album, Damned Devotion.
