NICOLETTE LARSON
West Hollywood 1979 [no label, 1CD]
Live at the Roxy Theatre, West Hollywood, CA; April 3, 1979 (Late Show). Fairly to very good audience recording.
Thanks to flyingm for sharing the show at Dime.
flyingm noted:
Most of this show was shared from my 1st gen copy in 2015 but this is the first time the masters have been digitized and this includes the final three songs that I didn’t have before.
Recorded by the Los Angeles tape eXchange (LAX). John was the engineer and held one microphone with Mark (the B-Man) holding the second microphone. Sue snuck the tape deck in and without her these recordings would not have been possible.
Microphones are re-positioned a couple times and the stereo “depth” changes during the recording. Tape flip after “Old Folks Boogie”. Recorder was stopped during the encore call
Thanks to ethiessen for his beautiful jewel box artwork.
Special thanks go out to John Musgrave for loaning me his masters.
For historical reference only and not intended for resale or any commercial use.
