Fifty years ago today, Beatle George told us that All Things Must Pass. Then he told us about Living in the Material World. For 36 years, BigO has been trying to keep the spirit and history of the music alive. Before all things pass, we still need your help to live in this material world. You can help us to do this with a kind donation. Please give what you are happy to give…

GEORGE HARRISON
Spirits In The Material World [Masterfraction MFCD004, 1CD]

Alternate versions, outtakes, early versions and demos of Living In The Material World [1973] album.

Living In The Alternate World on Roaring Mouse (DPRO-79963) was the first comprehensive release devoted to all of the material and was released in 1996. The Masterfraction label in Japan released a competing version the same year called Spirits In The Material World (MFCD004). This release places “Try Some, Buy Some” after “Be Here Now” to more closely replicate the LP’s original sequence and includes the 1971 demo of “Sue Me, Sue You Blues” and, rather incongruously, “Dark Horse”.
