MICHAEL JACKSON
Los Angeles 1989 [no label, 2CD]
Live at the Memorial Sports Arena, Los Angeles, CA; January 27, 1989 (last date of “Bad” tour). Very good soundboard.
Thanks to Kai; and to Dalai09 for sharing the show at Dime.
Known Faults:
- Light cracking during “Another Part Of Me”
- This recording is an awesome effort of the MJ community, who paid a great amount of money to the original tapes owner. Kai was responsible for ripping the cassetes and did an amazing job, so all the kudos go to him.
- He shared four versions on the community, here we have the 4th one post tranfer unenhanced.
- Those final rescheduled LA concerts does not feature musical director and keyboardist Greg Phillinganes, so the band sounds quite different.
