SAVOY BROWN
Seattle 1972 [no label, 1CD]
Live at the Paramount Northwest Theater, Seattle, WA; March 10, 1972. Very good FM broadcast.
Part of the late 1960s blues rock movement, the British Savoy Brown primarily achieved success in the United States, where they promoted their albums with non-stop touring. When Fleetwood Mac played in Seattle on March 10, 1972, the other acts on the billboard were Long John Baldry and Savoy Brown. Take this as a companion to the Fleetwood Mac show (click here).
This radio recording was made about a month after the release of Hellbound Train, an album that got to the US Top 40 chart.
