Nashville 1978 [no label, 2CD]
Live in Nashville, TN; February 2, 1978. Good to very good soundboard. Some fans noted speed issues, dropouts, imbalance, distortion, etc. Have yet to come across a speed-corrected version.
While many consider Jackson Browne’s Late For The Sky (1974) to be his best and most influential album, it’s likely that Running On Empty, released on December 6, 1977, is his most popular. In August 2012, we shared Jackson Browne and David Lindley’s show in Columbia 1978 (click here); and here is a show barely two months after the album’s release.
Thanks to Michael Lombo for sharing the tracks at The Traders’ Den. Michael noted: “This is a nice complete show from the late ’70s. All the lap steel work by David Lindley is great… There is a small dropout on Take it Easy, whoever is running the board [is probably making] some adjustments.”
