KMET John Mayall Hour Live from the Record Plant, Los Angeles, CA. Broadcast February 1975. Very good FM.
Any updates on vocalist Dee McKinney (McMann) would be appreciated.

Live in a studio with a small audience. Not sure if this was “as it happened” or a re-broadcast. The box is marked February 1975 and that’s the date used here. Tax Man Blues (tape flip during intro-spliced at “Otherwise You Go Crazy). The Dokorder was not the best reel to reel but it did have bi-directional recording. Tape flips were very quick and since the tape was not removed there is just a second or so missing. Commercials were removed. In a few places the stereo separation is exaggerated (by the DJ?)

Transfer (2015): Revox B77 > Korg mr2000-s @ 1 bit 5.6 MHz DSDIFF
Mastering: AudioGate (24-96) > iZotope RX4A and Adobe Audition 3.0 (prep and track splits) > AudioGate Aqua (16-44) > TLH [flac 8]
