Landover 1979 [LDB Vintage Series, 2CD]
Live at the Capitol Centre, Landover, MD; August 31, 1979. Fairly to very good radio broadcast.

Soundwise this is not perfect. This should come from the original broadcast and the tape must be 30+ years old. Nevertheless sound is clear and listenable. [Ed: Sound is a bit “rough” at the beginning, especially on Track 101, but gets better as the show progresses.]
Why a “vintage” series? Because music in the ’70s and ’80s was really something… so different, so special with “that” kind of sound which you don’t find anymore. That was the era of real music without the internet, of long tours and enjoyable live shows spanning from metal to new wave, progressive, jazz, fusion, pop. So many bands were born and disappeared during those two decades. I am then celebrating the ’70s and the ’80s and their unmistakeable sound in this LDB Vintage Series.
I have not listened to Bad Company for some 30 years! This series is pushing me to listen back to music I nearly forgot about its existence! But this band really rocks and Paul Rodgers was for sure a great singer and a great frontman. No indication of the radio station that broadcast this nice show from Maryland, but the band really rocks!
