It might seem as if Christmas came a bit earlier - what with snatches of Ave Maria and White Christmas - and, for those who are so inclined, it’s understandable you might want to hold off playing this show until later in the year. As for the rest, carry on rockin’. Different versions of this show have circulated and fans reckoned this is the best of the lot.

If you love, or even like, Rainbow’s 1976-78 material, you MUST acquire this latest edition of Tarantura’s magnificent run of vintage live Rainbow shows… This is a Mr Peach recording… As with all Peaches, this recording is deep, powerful, and balanced with only trace, minor levels of fleeting distortion in some of Dio’s comments between some tracks. There is, however, absolutely no distortion in any of the music. - Collectors Music Reviews
